The Games We Play
In this episode, I explore the concept of "right view" through the lens of the games we play in life. I share an experience playing a board game where my initial frustration stemmed from a narrow perspective, failing to see the real purpose: spending quality time with family. This led me to reflect on how often we get caught up in superficial "games" like needing to be right or chasing societal definitions of success, mistaking these for reality. The key takeaway is that by cultivating doubt and questioning our motivations, we can shift from a narrow, deluded view to a wider perspective, leading to greater insight, peace, and skillful action in our lives. This practice of questioning and seeing things as they truly are is essential for liberating ourselves from suffering and finding genuine happiness.
